Prior to co-founding Atlantis Management Group, Tumay was a Portfolio and Hedge Fund Manager for over 8 years. Tumay helped create AMG to capitalize on unique opportunities in the petroleum and retail markets. As CEO, he provides strategic leadership to the business though a strong organizational foundation and by fostering a success-oriented company culture. Tumay oversees the company’s finances and acquisition transactions.
Jose has three decades of experience in the petroleum and convenience store industries. Prior to co-founding Atlantis Management Group, Jose developed and operated more than 20 branded retail locations. Jose brings a dynamic and practical leadership style and spearheads the company’s new development projects. He plays a critical role in cultivating our key business and government relationships.
Jimmy has over 22 years of experience in the petroleum and real estate industries. He brings a talent for identifying and resolving day-to-day business issues in a cost-effective and practical manner. Jimmy leads our Wholesale and Real Estate Divisions, and works closely with the CEO and President on business acquisitions and the efficient execution of corporate strategies.
Chief Financial Officer
Terry joined AMG in 2015 as the company’s main financial executive. She is a highly-accomplished and results-driven professional who brings more than 13 years of versatile financial and accounting experience to the position. Terry began her career in public accounting and spent five years at a leading Long Island, NY accounting firm. She earned a Master's Degree in Taxation from S.U.N.Y. Old Westbury and is CPA certified in the state of New York.
Development and Pricing Manager
Orkun has been with Atlantis Management Group since 2012 fine tuning both our Convenience Store and Petroleum Operations. He currently leads our Atlantis Fresh Market initiative which to date has been extremely successful. Before joining the Atlantis Team, Orkun worked for a petroleum group in New Jersey, handling all aspects of its operations. His thriving for excellence makes him a key member of our team.
Director of Supply
Alper has 20 years of experience in the petroleum industry where he started in an entry level position. Before taking over our Supply Division, Alper worked in positions of increasing responsibilities, involved in all aspects of the petroleum business. His ease of working with others is a tremendous asset to the company, allowing him to continually find new business and ways to expand our supply efficiently and profitably.
Director of Human Resources
Christine joined the Atlantis team in 2017 and offers over 20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Accounting, and Business Management. Prior to joining AMG, Chris began her career in the petroleum industry as the Corporate Controller for the Food Bag chain of convenience stores, with over 50 locations spanning six states. Chris earned her Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Harford and uses her employee-centric focus to foster communication across teams and enhance efficiency within the organization.
Director of Business Intelligence
Jehad joined the Atlantis Management Group family in 2012. Jehad worked in many different roles during and prior to AMG where he built self-sustaining teams and departments. With 15 years of retail leadership and operational experience, Jehad has extensive accolades for establishing creative strategies for optimizing internal operations with the ability to access vantage points to create cost-effective solutions to internal and external challenges. Jehad leads multiple departments with AMG including Environmental Compliance, Information Technology, and both Fuel and Non-Fuel repair.
Director of Retail Operations - NY/NJ
Berk has been with Atlantis Management Group since 2012 where he started his career in an entry level position at a retail location. His business acumen has led him to be an asset in multiple departments within AMG. Berk brings a talent for identifying opportunities and holding people accountable to responsibilities and company goals. He is results driven and has proven to be a strategic asset to operations, profitability, and AMG as a whole.
Director of Retail Operations – New England
Allen Newman joined Atlantis Management Group in 2022 as the Director of Retail Operations overseeing the New England region. Allen earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from Hofstra University and brings over 25 years of progressive experience, including 10 years in the Retail Convenience Store Industry. Allen is a performance driven leader with the ability to develop strategic and operational regional plans, lead execution and measure results.
Alexander M. Amanatides
Alex joined Atlantis Management Group as the Company’s General Counsel in 2017 after over 20 years in private practice representing clients in the real estate and retail industries. Alex spearheaded the acquisition of over 140 retail gas stations and convenience stores during his first 3 years, and he maintains direct oversight of all legal matters for the Company’s M&A and Operational activity. Alex is a strong legal professional skilled in negotiation, and M&A and real estate transactions.
